Is anyone carrying a kayak on the back of a Flagstaff Shamrock 235s or similar model? If so, how are you carrying it. We are wanting to buy a kayak or two and need a way to transport it without being in the back of the truck.
So our first year with our 298bh was an overall success. Heading into our second season and excited for it. Question for everyone here, as you can see in the pictures I added a roof rack to my 6’8” bed Silverado 2500 for the kayaks. Last year we had 2 10’ kayaks and a 6’ kid kayak. The...
Hi Everyone
I have a 2020 Hawk with factory installed roof tracks and 78" Yakima HD crossbars. I'm interested in traveling with an 18' sea kayak (45 lbs.) on top of Hawk, but I would have to load/unload it myself. I had come to the conclusion that it would be impossible for me to get it up and...

Looking to add on a rear tow hitch for my EXP-23J
To plug in a bike rack and/or 2 kayaks. Is there a standard universal hitch that would fit? I don’t trust the bumper mount systems. I have 4 kids bikes and 2 kids kayaks to bring with. Any suggestions or advice is appreciated.
Hi! We're Doc & Evie and have moved this year to a house the mountains east of Branson, Missouri. Recently retired from college teaching, we are following dreams of:

I just finished adding a newer way to lift my big & heavy ocean kayak onto the roof of my Eagle. I had this on my car and decided it would be great for the camper too. Here are some key points for anyone interested:
It is a Thule "Hullivator"
I have mounted the Hullavator on Yakama cross...
I'm sure someone's thought of this before but my search on this forum brought up nothing so here goes....
Do any of you have suggestions on how to modify the front window so I can put my kayak through the window to transport it? For various reasons I don't want to get a car roof mount but my...
Okay here's my latest idea - how about carrying a 12-foot kayak on top of the camper?
Other than the problem of how to get it up there in the first place, I'm wondering about putting tie downs. I think I could just bolt straight through to the interior and put for eye bolts that I can attach...
I have been researching racks that mount on top of the folded a-frame or pop-up. I have read good reviews. Anyone here have years of experience with this? Please share. Thanks.
So, the wife likes to kayak and toting it with the 5th wheel was a problem. After a bit of measuring I think I have the solution.
Her kayak is 10 ft, so it's too long to put sideways in the basement or on the bumper. But, mounting it vertically with the ladder looks like it'll do nicely. Now...
Hi,
My name is Bob Rountree and I've been RV and tent camping throughout Florida for more than 20 years. I don't know everything about Florida, but I may know enough to help you, whether it's about the weather, where to camp, where to launch a kayak, where to hike, seafood hot spots and tiki...
I've been looking far and wide for a combination system that allows me to have a lockable, retracting tonneau cover AND a set of kayak racks on my truck at the same time that don't interfere with each other.
I need the ability to store and lock up camping materials in the box of the truck...
