So we have our trailer for 5 years and have never been able to figure out how the exterior light in the driver side turns on. We have read that both switches on the entry panel have to be on. We have checked bulbs , power at both sources and there is power but still nothing. Any other suggestions?

I've always used a block of wood under the yoke between the springs (on a tandem axle) and jacked that up. Someone tell me why that is unacceptable. I've never had an issue.
