Thanks for such a detailed description of your build! I am about to start building one similar to your build #2. Are the walls strong enough to lean against when sitting inside? How do you make sure the floor is weatherproof?

Yes, the walls are strong enough to lean against. I think you will be amazed at how strong a foamie is when you build yours. Been awhile, but I believe on #1 I used Henry's 201 Smooth Black Solvent-Based Fiber Asphalt Roof Coating. It was pretty common back then for standard builds too. It is hard to work with and messy. On #2 and #3 I used Henry's 587 Dura-Bright Smooth White Elastomeric Roof Coating, much easier to use. On #4 I used bonding primer and paint like the rest of the build. To me they all seem to work the same.

The best thing for the floor is to use a drip edge and then you don't have to worry about water getting under the body. No roof vents or other openings in the roof keeps water out of the interior. That is how I build my trailers.
