11 foot emergency dome shelter

The following is a 11' diameter emergency shelter built from OSB used as an exterior sheathing, using ripped 2x4s as edge connectors. Total cost was less than $100.

The structure can be disassembled and stacked with a height of less than 18 inches, and a foot print of 4' x 4'.

How difficult would it be to get the size down to a single person pod?

There's a simple geodesic design that has 5 triangles for the roof and 5 for the walls, like this:

You could scale this down a little using 4x4 or 5x5 foot panels.

Interesting. Nice build. Do you have any pictures of the inside. What are you using for connectors or to assemble? Thanks.
 
I didn't build it ... It is on the website....
I built the trusses for the 24footer about 12 yrs. ago to take up to the pine ridge reservation...
