Hello from the hills,. Talked today to the campground management and they said the campground is open,,,. All is a go for the "Beat the heat " Campout. Still a few patches of snow on the ground here and there but should be gone by the time we get there. There are a few spaces still open so if you're interested in coming now is the time to get your reservation in. See you there

[We are opening up registration for this event today. There is still quite a bit of snow at the campground but with the hotter days the snow should melt in time. Come join us June 30th- July 4th, 2017 in the High Sierras of central California for a "Beat the Heat Meet and Greet" at Lodge Pole Group Lake Alpine campground

This is off of scenic Highway 4, ( http://scenic4.org) in the central sierras of california just past Bear Valley and near Lake Alpine.( http://www.lakealpineresort.com ) It is Sure to be a great time in the great outdoors .. The area features kayaking, fishing, hiking and more with stores and restraunts near by. It is a great area for outdoor activities. This is disperced camping in a large group campground with toilets and water. It is $40 per trailer for the full event.
