We are selling our High Camp teardrop camper. It’s something we thought we’d use often, but we only ended up using about 5 times.
It’s in pretty darn good condition. We bought it in 2020, and drove it from Portland to Moab where we lived at the time. Then drove it back up here to Seattle when we moved in January 2023, where it got some salt spots. It has sat in our carport for the past 3 1/2 years with zero use.
Bad stuff first:
The passenger side screen has a hole and both pulldown shades have tears in them. These all happened in the move because we used the camper as more cargo space. I am currently in contact with the dealer to figure out the price to repair these, but I’m hoping to have the parts sent and I’ll simply replace them. *I will update this posting if they have been fixed.* The passenger side tire was replaced because when we moved here, we were pushing the trailer back in the driveway and it rolled over a nail.
Good stuff:
It has a queen mattress included. A roof fan that moves air in or out of the camper. There is a great kitchen/galley with 3 burner stove, refrigerator, and lots of storage. Two 20-pound propane tanks to keep you in cooking for a long time.
The lighting all around the camper is great. Inside, there is one large light that illuminates the whole interior, and two reading lights mounted at the head of the mattress for those readers out there. Each door has an exterior light to cast plenty of light on the ground in case you’re a middle of the night pottier. The kitchen has an LED strip attached to the outside perimeter of the hatch so it lights up the whole kitchen at night.
It uses a regular 3 prong extension cord to charge the battery. The battery is still at 100% charged even after sitting for over 3 years.
Sliding windows allow for great airflow and the fan is REAL strong, and can be controlled with buttons on the fan itself, or with the included remote.
