Hi David,

We've been away for a while and, when I check back, you moved your home. Hopefully it was your decision and on your timeline. Looking forward to seeing your build progress after you get re-established.

Take care,
Tom

Hey there buddy, wondered what happened to you.. yes, our decision,, will work out great for several reasons..
gonna miss that part of the state and country.. working on getting the last things resituated,, and unloaded from the Tackle Box..
Keep watching, will be back to the conversion before to long I'm sure..

Happy New Year everyone..

I left the last posting on here end of last year.. we were moving,
not enough time to work on the trailer.. with moving and then the holidays right on top of that..

Starting this new year out with ::
Cargo trailer finally empty from being a storage area for the move..
have been working in the new shop we had delivered back in Sept.. Getting things set up. Shelves on the very back wall..
Last evening, picked up Peg board for along one wall.. and new florescent lights.. are going up today..

Will be great to finally have a shop.. I can setup the way I want.. ;)
will be dry area to work in. warm when I need it to be or cool if needed..
Cargo trailer is backed right up to the front of the shop, ready to work on..
Couple more days setting shop up, then to work on cargo trailer.. :applause:
I want to go fishing................ :vroom: :picnic: :Flippin Burger: :campfire:

quick note::

Lights and power installed in shop today.. (tested on a light weight extension cord) table saw did make florescent lights dim a couple seconds,, shouldn't be a problem with the power supply I am running.. 50 feet of 12-3,, once it's done..
couple more things on the shop to do..
have to build a layout table off the end of the table saw..
some organizing of tools, this, that and the other..

Wow, been almost 2 years since being on here.. HAPPY NEW YEAR y'all...
A lot has changed here and there.. have to check on everyone and see who's still on here and who is not...
The New Year has found us moved again.. now second time we moved again..
finally gave up our travel trailer and moved to a town again.
was getting to old to put up with all the hassle of the trailer. preparing for the winters and so on and so on..
one thing after another was going wrong with the trailer..
Cargo trailer has taken a back seat for one reason or another.. weather, moving, health... enough about that...
Have a 2 car garage now to work in, in fact, just removed the cabinets from the Ford Connect last night when it was at the house
and started tonight redoing part of them to fit in the cargo conversion..
If you see this let me know you are still around, my friends...

Happy new year. Sitting here camped out on the side of the house, electric heater going. Cause I can't leave for a few weeks.
Life happens. Hope to see ya building soon .

Good to here from you Mod..
I'm looking forward to at least camp out in the driveway one of these days..
Did start the New Year out good.. was at the lake fishing New Years day :p ..
No camping here for sure yet.. plans are to have life slow down a little to work on this trailer.
Work on it anytime I can, and play catch up on it..
Well, trailer is backed up against the front of the garage.. plenty of room inside to work on things for the trailer.
Started making modifications last night to the cabinets I took out of the van.. that's going well so far..
Sure easier making them the first time, then to modify for a different build.. but will get them..
And I remember it didn't happen if no pictures too.. haha
Settle in, follow and let's see how this goes this time...

Even with the move we've made from the travel trailer full time to a house.. seemed to be short on space..
Have taken the time to cover most wall space with durable shelves, and peg board..
Made a decision when we moved to sell several things to help with money for the move.. now settling in..
Bought a really nice old 10 inch radial saw, then went back the next week and bought the matching 10 inch table saw..
both needed cleaned, greased, oiled.. ;) new wood top for the radial and small cab to set it on.. and no need for a
miter saw..
Two new blades and they are in great working condition..
Started working on a off feed table saw table, workbench, tool bench all in one..
Framing of the legs.. The saws are working great..

Work bench is coming along really well I think..
Robust? yes,,
I wanted it to last for awhile and be able to be used for several different things in the shop..
Needed it to easily move to the side of the garage or even outside.. so was put on
flip up casters..
The top will be a flip top.. one side of this top will be used for off feed for the table saw,
and be drilled for wood bench dogs, to help with clamping wood pieces for gluing and working..
This way I can use more wedges instead of clamps.. never have enough clamps...

When the top flips over, I will have my craftsman scroll saw, and a bench grinder mounted on the top..
Keeps from having them on another table or bench, taking up more floor space..
On one side of the table frame, I will install more peg board, for larger things, that need
a special place..

Wanting to get somethings done before working more on the CTC conversion..
I worked on the workbench countertop the last few days, getting it ready for the frame..
Need the workbench completed enough to use it and the table saw.. and today I had help.. :applause:
My youngest son jumped in today with me, and we worked on the flip top.. the following pics will show it..
the regular work top so far.. mounted on the frame with the pivot point bolts in place..
the barrels bolts on the side of the counter top, holds top in place while working on projects..
the top can also be tilted to an angle, for use as a drafting table for working plans etc..

Slide the barrel bolts in,, and the whole top flips over.. as seen in the next few pictures..

Tool placement was chosen for balancing the top out the best way, I can flip the table top with one hand..
as you can see bench grinder and scroll saw are already mounted to bottom of top, and leaving room
for other tools to be mounted as needed..
Then the barrel bolts are slid back into place, to keep top from flipping with pressure on it..
Everything is working out the way it was planned..

Worked again in the garage today,, on the flip top work bench.. the one end had
empty space...

And was perfect for a clamp rack.. tired of having them just lay around,, needing
to always look for them when needed..

That's shaping up nicely!

I couldn't do it that way. All the flat surfaces seem to collect stuff
that rarely gets completely cleaned up here. Right now I have 3
active projects laid out.

Thanks Pete..

That may happen here, too.. ;)
To get everything organized to start with, I have to do something..
Still emptying boxes and totes,, from the move.. clearing off shelves, so will have
more room for things.. :NC
Bench grinder and scroll saw we're sitting on a small work bench along the wall,
I can't see the top of.. that's another project..
CTC is sitting waiting.. have to have room to work on things for it..

Trailer has SOLD

Hey y'all, putting up for sale the 6' x 12' Interstate Victory Cargo Trailer..CTC $3300. OBO.. No Trades..

Life choices have changed.. but hey, someone will get a great deal on it.. if you've followed here on TnTTT..
then you know the work that has went into it...it's here in Central Texas..

The heavy duty battery and new spare tire comes with it.. and I have Marine radio with speakers need to be installed..
plenty of extra interior, exterior lights that were bought for it. linoleum flooring was damaged the last time it was used to move us, :frightened:
But I have a new roll of the linoleum in the trailer waiting to be installed.
