7th Annual Champoeg, Oregon Gathering April 29th & 30th, 2022.
Reservations are available now for the 7TH annual Champoeg Gathering in campground A.
Make your reservations with Reserve America, the campground is filling up fast.
This is a no host/club gathering so bring your own food and enjoy a relaxing weekend in the beautiful Champoeg State Heritage area near Salem, Oregon.
The campground has flush toilets, hot showers, firewood & ice sales.
The showers are in individual, private, locking shower rooms, no quarters or tokens required.

Bring your bike if you like as there are paved bike/walking trails.
Frisbee Disk Golf course for those who play.
This year we're centered near campsite A36.

Directions to Champoeg State Heritage Area
From Highway I-5 north or south, take exit 278 (Donald/Aurora). Follow State Park signs 6 miles west to park entrance.
From highway 99W (Newberg area), take Highway 219 south (toward St. Paul), 3 miles to Champoeg Road. Turn left on Champoeg Road and drive 3 miles east to park entrance.
From airport (PDX), Airport Way, take I-205 south (Portland). Drive 25 miles south on I-205 to junction with I-5 south (Salem). Drive south on I-5, 10 miles to exit 278, (Donald/Aurora). Exit the freeway and follow the State Park signs 6 miles west to park entrance.

Hello! My partner and I are moving up to Salem next month and I just found this post. We're looking at some trips to do in April and this looked wonderful, however I see that the campground is full for those dates. Is there another campground nearby that others are going? I'd love to meet some fellow teardroppers!
