A highly experienced RVer documents the step-by-step build of a custom 8x20 Diamond Cargo toy hauler, designed for off-grid comfort and to accommodate a Harley Davidson Ultra Limited. The project features a robust electrical system with 640Ah LiFePO4 batteries, Victron Energy management, 600W solar, and a 24VDC setup to support high-efficiency rooftop AC. The build also includes large water tanks, on-demand hot water, induction cooking, advanced monitoring, and four-season insulation... More...
My Facebook Marketplace score on a brand new sink and faucet for the build. Literally 60 percent off new price.

Also, welding in cross member for the holding tanks. Have all the sensors, heating pads and etc. Will post video on install in a week or so.

I've had great luck using the Mopeka Pro tank sensors that integrate into the Victron CerboGX. I have one on the fresh water and one on the diesel heater tanks.

I bought these 33-240 ohm sending units from Amazon..From what I read in the Cerbo GX user manual, it should work in that range and I just have to calibrate full. It should work, you think?!

I got the tanks installed, but have the Blackwater Tank sensor yet to install when it arrives and I need to solder up a wire harness to get the tank heater pad wires and tank sensor wires routed to where they need to be. Next, I'll get the insulation in the front floor area and start buttoning it up.

I am thinking of not using paneling in my conversion..My thought is to sand the existing plywood smooth, then use a spackle to fill and surface cracks, screw dents, and etc., them put down an orange peal coating and paint similar to how you would finish drywall.

I have not had a good experience with paneling in CTCs over the years and it is expensive these days. Additionally, I think this will look better and be more repairerable if needed.

Thought? Will this work?

I made 2 videos this week. One is an update on where I am at on the build and the other is about the Victron Power System I build up for the trailer. Check them out.

Facebook Marketplace find on the toolbox. I painted it up and will be modifying and partioning it to be a Generator Box also. My Predator 3500 fits in there well.

Episode 7 on the insulation. I'll have a video ready on the window installation in a few days.

I was cutting more holes in the CTC today..Added a city water hookup and the tank gravity fill inlet. The AC came in today, So I am going to install it tomorrow. Then the awning..At that point, I will be focused on interior. Will have cabinets in a week hopefully.

I am careful to always back fixtures with plywood so there is something of substance to screw into
