Still trying to figure out how to post pictures here from the gallery. I am in the process of building a bare bones truck camper on a tight budget. It's to fit into a F150 with a 6'6" box, will be 6'6" wide, 4' high on the side walls, with a 32 1/2 wide trolley top. There are holes in the front for access to the tie downs, and wings on the box to restrict movement while driving rough roads.

I was given the 3/4 plywood so this is low cost so far, it will have a 30" wide, 7' foot long bunk on each side with a fold up section so the bed can be out of the way when travelling. The bunks will hang over the tailgate so I could get some more length, being tall creates it's own issues,

Adding 8" Trolley roof, ended up buying a sheet of 3/4 plywood $67+tax C instead of 1x8x8' pine board for $19C+tax.

There is 6'5" of headroom just inside the door, and 6'4" where it drops at the front. The bunks are 7'x30" [a little narrower by the door where your feet land]. Will be putting styrofoam on top of the roof and down the front to stop condensation forming inside the roof when in use and then covering with canvas and waterproof stain.

Really cool! Have you taken it out for the maiden voyage yet? How did it handle if you did? Any idea how much it weighs?

:applause:
