Thanks Anita! I updated the list, which is on page one, the very first post. Pretty soon we will start planning the potluck menu and letting everyone know about the Friday evening goody bag stuffing and treating the campers.

I was just amazed. I just called ReserveAmerica and found that all sites have been reserved for Silver Springs park for the 31st through the 2d.
Unless someone cancels...

Is the Santos park close enough? They said that it is six miles away (as the crow flies...).

Any other ideas?

Rod, I'm sorry to hear all sites were booked. Keep looking unless you want to book at Santos and come over and hang out with everyone, especially on Friday night and Saturday afternoon for the potluck. I've never heard of Santos so I can't give you any info on that park. Let me know what you decide to do.

Silver Springs RV Park is across the street from where we will be. Not the same as camping in the park, but close. Just a suggestion. Keep checking up to the last minute with the state park. Something may open up.

Rod, cancelations are rare, it would be a long shot but call the park and ask if they have first come first serve sites. Of course you would have to be first in line on the day of for those. Most state parks have a few non-reservable sites.
I will probably drive up for the day, only an hour away, just to meet and see the teardrops.

Yay! Glad you will be joining us. We are planning on meeting at my site 40/41 around 4:00-4:30 to start putting the bags together. Be sure and WEAR A COSTUME. (You don't have to but a lot of us are). We will walk around the camp ground and hand out goody bags to all the campers and kids. We've done this for several years and it has always been fun. We are having a pot-luck dinner Saturday night and are trying to get a menu started. Looking forward to meeting you Rod!

What a wonderful, fun Halloween gathering we had! We had lots of new campers join us and adorable little guys and gals. Thanks to everyone who pitched in and helped make this so successful! Looking forward to next year's already!
