My problem. The Dog has separation issues when I head for the campground restroom. Not a problem when using the shower, I just put him in the crate in the truck. This works for cold weather camping like spring trout season. In hot weather I'd have to lock him in with the air on, but that would work. But just a quick trip to the restroom when I really don't want to cage him, turns him into a nuisance barker. I was thinking that an enclosure so some sort, maybe a shower type tent might work. Due to wind, it would have to be staked down. What do some of you use and recommend?

There are a lot of different porta potty enclosures listed on Amazon. You might find one at Wal-Mart but they're shelves are pretty empty. Dicks Sporting Goods. A few suggestions.

We have the Kelty Blockhouse privacy shelter for potty & shower. Works well. We got it at REI.

We like this one...

Tony, that’s awesome!

We have the same unit (Luggable Loo) but it’s hidden inside here. Took this photo tonight. Am out camping for the next 5 nights!! :beautiful:

Mine is just a different make, yet same setup. It sets up on it's own! You get used to how to fold back up.. with practice.. I don't think I've ever put the rain fly on, we s put it under the awning when in use.

I just bought a bug house that is also a self setting tent. This one you really want to set back back as it 'explodes' into basic shape! It's funny that's it's actually easier to fold back up then the shower/toilet tent (enclosure).

I've used a deer blind for a while for aporta potty enclosure :) Might be a little redneck, but its the fastest pop up enclosure I had, and it had the benefit of being already owned.

I have the same design as PC06. Different brand, but, same thing. It is big, so, if you are just looking for a privacy cover for dressing or potti the one room version is a good, easy to erect and fold option. I use the double as a shower enclosure as well. Currently working on an improved version of my shower bucket which is currently just a five gallon bucket, a 12v mini pump, a foot switch and small hose with shower head. In cool weather it takes too much fuel and time to heat water and the bucket loses heat almost as fast as I can cook it on my little stove. I'm changing over to an insulated two gallon igloo water jug. It will be easier to retain heated water in small batches (cool weather on a small stove, sunny weather I use a solar bag).

With the foot switch I manage to use less than two gallons per shower.

I've seen some very creative builders make simple curtain hanger devices attached to the teardrop. Light weight and easy to store and the pup will smell ya nearby, so to speak :R
