Hey all, I'm building a foamie inspired by the Grumman 2 pattern. I've been researching since October, mocking things up since December. I'm planning to start cutting foam a little later this month and doing the build in April. I was thinking we'd go the Harbor Freight route for a trailer, but we caught a break in that I have a farmer dad who accumulates trailers and likes to weld. He repurposed an old snowmobile trailer into a 5x10 platform for our camper. I'm documenting the build at Side Quest Archive. Excited to get started, and grateful for this community.
I do have a question: Do you all have to repeat yourselves a lot, too? As in, "You're what? You're building a camper? You're building it? You're building it out of foam?"
