Are there any camping shows that have small teardrops or tiny travel campers at their shows? I have been to a couple last year but they did not have anything small. Are there any in 2018 in the northeast that will have small teardrops or tiny trailers?
I live in MA and want to see the small ones in person.

I haven't seen any at shows in the Capital District here in NY other than
Pop-Ups, in the last year.

Most shows focus on the large big dollar campers. If you are looking for something particular that is new you'll have to find a dealer that sells them. However some of the smaller trailers are only sold direct, such as the Scamp and Casita fiberglass trailers. Attending a rally you may find something that is of interest to look at. We do a few vintage rallies each year in the Northeast, so almost all those in attendance are older units. Again if you have a particular brand in mind you can probably find a Facebook group dedicated to them and possibly find an owner near you that will let you look at their camper. It certainly would be nice to have a good selection in one place at a show, but not likely that will happen.

Thanks. I will check this section for rallies and Facebook for pages of companies that make small campers.

There is a vintage rally at the Brattleboro Vermont KOA in June and September. We take either our vintage teardrop or our almost vintage Uhaul fiberglass camper. They do an open house for the public to come in on Saturday afternoon to view the campers.

Some companies, like Scamp and Casita have lists of owners that are willing to show their trailers. So if you for example wanted to see a Scamp, you could call the factory and they will give you the name of someone in your area that will let you come look. We also have a Casita 17, but it is 20 years old.

When I'm finally ready to buy I plan on making trips to each builder, or just make it one huge loop of exploring.

I was given a tip that tear drops and other ttts are often shown at Sportsman/Fishing/ Hunting Shows, rather than RV shows. Good luck! :D

I will Google that and check them out. Thanks for the tip.
