I just finished my conversion on a Forest River 14 x 6 V nose trailer. I bought new in 2024 and took it moose hunting down some rough roads that caused some damage. Damage repaired then I put an axle flip in it to give me 4” more ground clearance. I added brakes as well since the trailer, two four wheelers and gear were starting to push a bit when stopping. I put a kitchen at the front with a counter and storage but I left out water since tanks kill ground clearance under the trailer. I have a 35 gallon plastic drum that stays in the box of my truck. That’s enough water for our needs. I have a pump and on demand heater that I use for showering in a Joolca shower tent. I made a table that comes off the wall so that I can fit one atv in the trailer. The bed is 60” wide for my wife and I or it stacks up as two bunks for hunting. Outside, I added a light and an awning that I had made by a Mennonite shop for less than $200. I got some of my inspiration from this website, thanks a lot.
