Congrats on getting the 'drop out into the woods! I was up your way July-August 2017. I saw Chena Lakes and thought that was it, but I spent several nights at River View RV park, on the Chena River. Also camped 2 nights at Harding Lake cg, down by Salcha. Overall it was about a month in Alaska, and saw most of what's accessible by road. What a trip! Couldn't have done it without the "Bed & Breakfast."

I really liked Fairbanks. Anchorage not as much.
