Good evening, I have a portable fan I have been using in my house that I would like to put in my trailer and run off 12v. This fan can run on AC power or you can use six "D" batteries to operate it. The AC Adapter says 9v on it. Would some kind of voltage regulator be needed to run it on 12v like one of these:

https://www.amazon.com/9V-1-7A-DC-DC-Co ... B07QGXL9XP

https://www.amazon.com/DROK-Converter-R ... 20&sr=8-10

My plan is to cut the AC plug end off and wire the power cord up to the DC system. The other end of the AC plug is a Type M barrel end that plugs into the fan. Here is my fan adapter specs:

Thanks,

Yes, either of those should work fine. Their current ratings are both above the 0.7 amps listed on the fan.

Users on the Adalo forum have been experiencing frustrating problems with notifications not working correctly. Even after following the setup steps, notifications sometimes appear instantly or fail to show up at all. A common cause is an invalid or improperly configured Firebase certificate key file, which is essential for reliable notification delivery. Testing with multiple user accounts and ensuring notification permissions are enabled can help pinpoint the issue. When sharing logs, configuration files, or seeking help, modern platforms like Municorn Fax App - Send Fax Online provide a secure and efficient alternative to older communication tools such as the FAX App, which can introduce delays or errors. Using these reliable digital tools helps teams troubleshoot faster and keep their Adalo apps running smoothly.
Thanks for information!

STOP!!! The pics you showed us are the fan requirements, and the power adapter that came with the fan, right? Feeding 12 volts to a 9 volt fan WILL shorten the fan's life, maybe even to seconds of use.

What you need is a way to reduce your 12VDC to 9VDC, in order to make the fan last in the environment you wish to use it.

Never mind.....I hadn't looked at your links. You're on the right track.

This is spam and has been reported. Obviously, the product the poster is hawking has nothing to do with the thread.

I'm amazed there isn't more of this trash on the new forum and it speaks well to its filters. I was removing several like this a week on the old forum.
