Was active on the Facebook diy teardrop group when I built this a couple of years ago. But I'm leaving that cesspool (FB, not the outstanding group) so I feel the need to establish my presence here. This was a fantastic project that gets comments from strangers on the road. Very much enjoying family outings in my stretched 4-person teardrop-style camper. Plenty of unfinished projects to keep me busy, too. I've already forgotten more about some of the detailed build processes than I care to think about, but I'm having a great time camping!

Couple more photos of my diy rig. Walls are Latham plywood sandwich style, made from multiple plywood sheets on a CNC router, clad in aluminum composite and Baltic birch. Roof is aluminum sheet over 2x2 roof bows. Sleeps 4, or 3 and a couple of dogs: queen mattress on the deck and another in a loft over the rear slide-out galley. Front section of the loft can fold away to expose a pair of benches and a table at the foot of the main bed. One bench houses the lithium battery and power center.
