Drop Hitch (steel or aluminum)

I'm about to buy a drop hitch, and I was wondering who rather have Steel or aluminum?

I understand aluminums aesthetic, it's $30-$50 more than steel but it can bend easier or just snap.

What's your thoughts?

Steel! The penalties for a runaway trailer are pretty stiff if it hits a minivan full of kids.
