I see a lot of recomendations for campgrounds in the area but all seem to be multiple sites, big rigs, with hook ups and tons of people. Anyone have recomendations where a guy can park and fish with the kids... actual boondocking :)

Citico road in the national Forrest has many sites on the creek and has outhouse style bathrooms.

Thanks guys! I have got to get the build moving, those look perfect. In addition to getting my enjoyment I'll have the extra fun of watching my 16 year old try to find wi-fi in the wilderness

Mile High Campground, its on the east side of the Smokies Park, over looking Cherokee NC. Primitive style camp sites, no power, water is at the office. The views from the camp sites are just unbelievable
