I started my foamie build 5 years ago with a 10 year old Harbor Freight trailer.

Of course there were no plans. Hopper evolved over time

The camper is a composite shell having no rigid internal structure using:

2" of blue and pink dense foam
joined using gorilla glue
sections joined using pieces of pvc pipe
all foam perforated with garden aerator
covered with 2 layers of 9 oz painters canvas
canvas soaked in Titebond 2 wood glue
painted with exterior house paint

added:
(2) 100 watt hard mounted panels usng victron 100/15 controller, 100 ah lithium battery, & 1000 watt inverter.
20 amp shore power with 45 amp converter

later added:
exterior solar outlet for 2 folding 100 watt panels using 2nd victron 100/15 controller
panel can also be switch to boost controller

Galley has 2 burner cooktop, sink, bluetooth stereo

Its so well insulated, no need for heat

Finished late 2024 it has been on 18 trips and still strong
