Foamie/plywood hybrid?

Hi all, I'm looking to build a standie that can sleep three to four people, and so probably something that can accomodate bunk beds. Structurally, a plywood camper seems to make sense for that. But if I find plans for a plywood camper which I really like, what things do I need to consider if I choose to replace nonstructural parts - some part of the outside walls and roof, etc. - with foam? I want to do so both to cut down on weight and to improve insulation - I'd like to be able to use my camper in early Spring and late Fall.

Is my best plan to do a wood frame faced with a traditional foamie shell, or maybe have the bottom half of the walls be external plywood lined inside wth foam with a transition to just foam on the top half? What sorts of structural weaknesses am I introducing if I create a hybrid?

If you make a strong floor you can make a traditional foamie and then just add supports at the bunk locations in the interior. I have other ideas but have not tried them yet myself so not sure if they would work or not. Good luck with the build. George.

What size is the trailer that you're planning on using? I'm in the planning stages of basically the same thing. My trailer is a former pop up. Its roughly 11' long by 6' wide. My plan is to have a queen at the back on a platform and a set of bunkbeds in the front.
