:eek: Yep !!! As much as I hate to admit , old age has finally caught up with me . My Wife is now handicapped, and unable to travel any long distance. And I now have three Cats. :eek:
I've taken care of it , updated it as necessary , but now it just sits , begging to hit the road ... Rather than just letting it rot , we decided to sell it so somebody else can enjoy it ... :thinking:

Haven't been on here in forever and the first post I read is that you are selling. Sorry to hear. I hope you keep posting though. My best to you and your family.

Jim , Thanks ... Just got to old to do this anymore ...Happens ... :thinking:

Sorry to see this. Just seems like yesterday we were chatting about our builds here. Hope it all works out for you. Good luck! George.

George , Thanks for everything ... Looks like everybody is building Foamie trailers now ... :eek:

Ps. The Wife says the FS has to go ... somebody make an offer... ;)

They do seem to be getting more popular. Good or bad I don't know. Good luck with the sale! :thumbsup:

Not even a nibble ... Maybe I can donate it to some charity group :unsure:

I'm in the middle of a build myself. But I'd hate to see it go somewhere it might not be appreciated for what it is. What are the internal dimensions? Any current interior pics?

7' X 13.5'.

I'm realy facepalming on this... would be a perfect blank slate. I wouldn't realy change what is already there, just add platform for storage and mattress and maybe a small cabinet with countertop. If only I hadn't decided to start my build.. ugh.

I am interested and the dimensions are pretty close to perfect for me. The issues are that I need to fit a queen and 2 bunks (sleeping for 4), and an air conditioner (hubby's ask), so I would probably want to move the location of the door (or add a door), and add some windows/exterior storage access. However, I have zero experience. I am on here to learn to start my very first project (probably a foamie). I'm worried about biting off more than I can chew, but I am also open to being convinced if you guys think a total newbie could handle it.

@Rachel Ellen
I believe this trailer has a window on either side and a hole for an a/c unit on the driver's side by the floor. I think the idea was to slide the A/C unit out into position when parked at the campsite. Here is the original build thread.

I'd suggest leaving the exterior as intact as possible to minimize potential for rain leaks that would destroy the trailer over time... Focusing instead on outfitting the interior. Which may be much easier to handle for a first timer.

Here is an idea, if the reported interior dimensions are true: I think the A/C is farther forward than where I put it in the pic. But I don't think that would have an effect on other dimensions. The blue outlines are roughly human size analogues.

The twin size bed would be a bunk of two. Though I imagine the bottom one would need to be just about on the floor due to interior height restriction. Possibly could make the top bunk somehow safely lower down over the bottom one to become more like a couch when not needed for sleeping. The large mattress could start as a king size foam mattress and be trimmed down to shape. A platform space under the large bed can store large items too. On the other wall, a shallow cabinet/counter could be added. It would help balance out the weight of the bunks a bit.
