Introducing "Tiny," a custom teardrop camper trailer featuring high-quality birch and maple woodwork, and an aluminum-skinned exterior. Tiny fits 2-3 (two adults and one child comfortably) with a bunk bed and nearly queen-sized bed. We even squeezed a second child between us on the bed for a total of 4. Tiny is built on a 5' x 8' frame and includes a built-in propane stove and battery.

My wife and I designed and built Tiny from the ground up to meet the needs of our family. Her design and build was inspired by many hours of reading forum posts here. Thanks to all for your posts! If you have any questions about the construction or features we chose (or omitted), feel free to post or DM. We have higher-quality photos (including build pictures) we can share.

Tiny is for sale for $10,999.

Construction:
• walls constructed out of baltic birch and maple plywood
• cabinets constructed of solid birch and maple with maple plywood shelves
• mill-finish aluminum sheets used for outer skin
• vinyl tile flooring
• 7-pin trailer plug wired to charge battery from alternator while car is running
• group 24 AGM deep cycle battery
• 5'x8' Northern Tool trailer frame
• ~1200 lbs - built to be lightweight and towed without trailer brakes

Exterior features:
• locking RV doors on both sides
• upgraded tongue
• custom tongue storage with firewood box, aluminum battery box, and 10 lb propane tank.
• exterior lighting above each door
• locking rear hatch
• mill finish aluminum exterior. Water marks and stains are visible but could be removed by polishing. We chose to leave the mill finish for simplicity.
• latches to hold doors open
• hurricane hinge on rear hatch
• two stabilizer jacks on rear corners
• 12" wheels with low mileage tires (purchased in 2021).
• has a custom license plate with Tiny's name in it (if you register in CA, you can retain the plate)

Rear Hatch/Kitchen:
• formica countertop
• custom self-closing cabinets and drawers
• dovetail drawers and rail and stile cabinets
• two burner Wedgewood Vision propane stove. Decal has some damage from the heat but the stove is otherwise in good condition.
• LED lighting above counter on hatch
• Coleman 54 qt Steel Belted stainless steel cooler on pull-out drawer
• two shelves for storage with hooks for cargo net
• bottle opener
• Single cabinet with two doors and one shelf
• faux tile backsplash
• Propane leak detector (hardwired to battery, can be turned off by switch when in storage)
• two hatch support springs
• two 12V outlets

Interior features:
• Bunk bed or shelf 22" x 58.5". This was originally designed to be a bunk bed for a child shorter than 58" but was later used as a storage shelf when the kid grew.
• Nearly queen-sized 4" foam bed (58.5" x 76"). Bed is cut into three sections with custom covers for access to under-bed storage. We were able to sleep four by having our 10 year-old sleep between us and our 8 year-old sleep in the bunk bed.
• stargazer window above headboard
• two under-bed storage boxes, one nearly full width (accessible from both sides) and one narrower
• Fan-Tastic ceiling fan with thermostat and rain sensor
• overhead LED lighting on both sides along with LED reading lights on both sides
• curved front wall houses a headboard storage cabinet and shelf with two 12V outlets
• fusebox, battery voltage meter, and propane detector switch are easily accessed in the headboard storage cabinet
• custom Roman shades and storage bins included
• four double coathooks and four single coathooks
• Battery-operated smoke detector
• hook for leash under the shelf (so you can leave the doors open with a pet inside)

Tiny has been a great trailer for our family. We did many long road trips and small local camp trips. We built her so that it would be easier for our family of four to go on weekend camp trips. We kept her fully equipped so that we could be out of the house and on our way to camp in just over an hour. We'll miss her, but now that our kids have left the house, we switched to vanlife in a two-seat van and no longer use Tiny.

The trailer is used so there are minor stains, scratches, and marks throughout. It tows well (up to 75mph). There have been minor leaks over the years (with evidence of one leak behind the cooler) and we addressed them as they appeared. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a leak-free trailer because we no longer have a vehicle with a hitch and it does not rain at this time of year in California. We are selling as-is with no warranty.
