Anyone wanna try to get together for a Gulf Coast gathering??

Plenty of parks. Gulf Shores, Pensacola, St. Thomas, Grand Isle?

The MS Tear Jerkers group is having a gathering in a couple of weeks not far from you. Go on the TearJerkers.net site and check out the Magnolia Chapter thread, it will give you all the information.

I am in Pensacola, FL, not really that far from you. I will be camping at the Big Biloxi Campground in the DeSoto National Forest, just south of you, Oct. 4 and 5. It is probably about an hour from you, 10 miles north of Gulfport, MS.

I'm always looking for someone to meet up with and camp.

The Magnolia Chapter is having a gathering at Roosevelt State Park, Oct. 4-5-6. It's not too far from your Bay Springs location. Come by to visit whether you can camp or not.

One item we'll probably discuss around the campfire is where folks would like to camp in the future.

It would be a good outing for any P'cola Chapter members who would like to get away from the coast for a while as well!

Thanks for the invitation, but unfortunately I already have plans for the October weekend. I will be in MS, but at Big Biloxi in De Soto National Forest. Meeting friends on Saturday in Biloxi for dinner and a concert, or I would have joined you. Looking forward to attending some of the Magnolia and Louisiana Chapters events. Sometimes the FL Chapter functions are just too far from where I am in the Panhandle. I am surprisingly centrally located to attend gatherings from multiple chapters though. Variety is the spice of life!
