Hello, everyone. We are here in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, and we primarily use our teardrop for going to music festivals and playing fiddle all night.

Our teardrop is Diamond in the Rough by TheTeardropTrailer, but we have a Road Toad on order: just a smidge bigger and a bit lighter.

We bought the camper after a weekend fiddle festival where a tropical storm showed up to play. We stayed dry with our canopies and sidewalls, but the tent was soaked with water coming up through the floor. So we searched for a used teardrop as a tent replacement.

It works great for us. We spend most of our time outside under canopies, and sleep inside. The best part is packing up. We have the mattress with sleeping bags and pillows, then we cover that with a waterproof tarp, and everything else goes on top of that, and if it is wet or dirty the bedding stays clean.

Sure thing, and thanks. It was made in Canada in 2017, and we have had it about three years.

Like most teardrop campers, it has a galley kitchen in the back, with a storage box, and a couple of shelves. The bottom shelf extends outward for access to the cooler, etc. You can see in the picture there is a screened pass-through from the inside to the galley, which is nice for cross ventilation. I have never passed anything through, though.

Inside it is 58” by 70”. There is a bed, shelves and a drawer above where your feet go, a screened pass-through to the galley, and a pull out drawer. If you pull out the drawer, there are shelves that convert that to a platform. I think the theory is that you could use it as work space, or even sleep a child there, but I am skeptical. My wife always thought the dog should sleep there, but he did not agree.

There is a giant cargo box up front, which I love, diamond plate on the top and fenders, solar panel mounted to the top with a battery in the cargo box, stabilizers and a trailer hitch receiver in the back.

Hi, SlowFiddle. Welcome to the forum, from Kansas. Like you guys, my wife and I like to take our teardrop (the Happy Clamster, since it's a clamshell) to music festivals. We play banjo and concertina, respectively– thus our vanity tag "Joe and Tina". Heading to Lanesboro MN next week; would like to get down your way someday. The Shenandoah Valley is so beautiful!
