Tool box got heavy, in the worst possible place and i must add a 10#LPG bottle and battery

I really didn't want to attach the fender's to the box, but I couldn't find any narrow one's.

thanks KS
I'm still waiting on my Engle fridg/freezer, they've been out for months.
SO there's still the galley to complete, and other smaller things as well.

Looking good. All the hard work is paying off for you. I can sympathize with the cabin-rolling stuff. I made the mistake of having the tongue box welded to the frame first (oops), then paid for it the rest of the build! All's well that ends well & remember our motto "We always get it right eventually!"

Oh, it's been a while, I did get it done 04/01/20.
I got it licensed 06/11/20, during covid the local MVD was closed, when it did open you had to have an appointment.

To forgo that, I pulled it ~55 miles to a more friendly open MVD and got a permanent plate.

I pulled it with my '53 Chevy pickup, with a cummins engine, at speeds up to 80 MPH:cool:
Brought it back home, put the trailer in the garage.

Then, the very next day, driving the '53 back into town to the shop, A WOMENZ pulled right out in from of me, hitting to front right.:mad::mad::mad: I will refrain from cursing, but you can imagine what I could have said.
and she had the minimum required insurance of only $10,000.00. No one was hurt though except the '53, which spent 368 days in the hospital.

About the only changes I would make is, I wish I'd put the axel about 4" closer to the front.

The Tongue is over 200 LBS. Which is about 50# more than it should be IMOP.
I did move the battery, to the foot of the bed, which is a few inches to the back of the axle, with access from the galley, so that helped some.
Life got in the way during the covid day and to date I've only spent 15 nights sleeping on my 6" memory foam mattress.

I did stop posting on here due to the difficulty of posting photos, my computer ineptness doesn't help.

Do you still post photo's the same way as 5-years ago? or has it changed.

Carry on, Jeff

Much easier now. From my computer, I just stick in the memory stick from the camera, drag and drop.

Probably a similar procedure for phones too...

The 53

Both are dirty 😔

The storage box
I do recommend the “dust buster “ mud flaps, it really should be continuous tho, as the rocks still make it threw the missing center🤯

Daminal loves sleeping in the td, it’s exhausting going camping.

She loves the’53 equally, when she hears me coming, she’s ready to go.

Here she is, in the 53 she wanted a ride, it was her 13th birthday 🎂

I forgot the brand🤦‍♂️ of the fan.

But it is reversible.

With the rain detection

Very quite.

The controls are hard to see, especially with old eyes, and progressive lens, my head can only tilt so far up🤯

It does have a little power “on” light, that was blinding even to the blind, soo I put a little piece of black electrical tape over it.

Then as I was cleaning it out the other day, I found the remote control 🤦‍♂️

So problem solved

The hurricane hinge, even though I ran it long, it continued to weep back into the hatch😡
So I had to make a little spout.
