house paint on plywood skin

The plans for the wonderer campers don't say how to seal the wood. I know fiberglass is one way but will caulking the seams then using house paint work to protect the wood.

also I have a lot of fabric left from my plane project that I could use to cover it with use that as a PMF

If you want to do it right, fiberglass/epoxy and use an oil-based paint. Otherwise, the plywood will probably check.

The P in PMF is a misnomer. The learning curve with the two systems are the same.
