I haven't been here in a while but its still makes me giggle that the peeing in the woods thread is still going strong
This weekend I finally found the trailer of my dreams. :)
I still don't know what it is yet but here it is in all its glory.

What do you girls think of it? It needs work but hopefully we (my sisters boyfriend and I) hope to get it done by next camping season. :worship: ( but we all know they are never really done) ;)

I think its perfect! Good luck and have fun making that all yours. :wine:

Thanks eaglesdare.
Now I need to figure out were to start and what I need to get to restore it. :hammerhead:

Spend a little money and a little work in trade for a lot of road trips and fun!
Congratulations on your new tin baby, Mandy!

Love your trailer----can't wait to see when you get it all fixed up. Would love to see "in progress" photos.

I was looking through my list of "Pinterest" sites and came across what looks like a redone version of your nifty trailer. Wasn't sure if I could "swipe and post" the photo here, so here's the link:

Looks like a bed at one end and a dinette at the other. Not having to build a bed every night is a big plus in my book. Good luck with the redo.

Went looking some more and your trailer looks like a 1955 or so Aljoa (check out the red one, middle of page):

The photo from my first post and on another website describes it as a 1956 Rainbow.

Here's a 1955 Rainbow:

I just love these canned hams. We see a few around central Wisconsin, during our travels, but they're usually in dire shape due to the weather.

It's close but mine dosen't have that little divet in the front. I think it's called a Fleetwing. The Title says 1951 Flee. I think it's a transition between a Fleetwing and a Fleetwood. Because it isn't exactally a Fleewood or a Fleetwing its a little of both.

I think the bed was a jimmy rig kind of thing. I might just keep the idea but rebuild it the right way.

I thought mine was a Rainbow but the front dose not match up with mine.

I also thought it was an Aljoa / Aljo but the doors are diffrent.

Hello Mary Nice to meet you too. :shake hands: I think I will have a build journal if and when I get started. So far I'm just on the research phase and trying to find all the stuff I need to fix my new baby. I hope I have it done by next summer :worship: but who knows what needs to be done before then.

Good luck on your resto Mandy! It's not exactly like building a tear. It looks like you have a good candidate to start on though! Thing is...you'll get the "can I look inside" on these just the same. Doug

 Funny you should say that Doug, because I already had someone wanting to see the inside when we were towing it home.
