Hello folks.
I’m neck deep in the process of building a teardrop and as I am working towards building the actual cabin, I’m starting to think about what I want to do about cabin comfort and the structure.
I’m curious as to how well a Maxxair fan does in summer humidity and hot temperatures to make sleeping in the cabin bearable.
The other option would be a 48v rooftop ac for rv’s (the newer kind that are about 6” high).
I want to know if anyone who lives in the southeastern U.S. has been comfortable with using The Maxxair or if they wished they had air conditioning.
I have 2 450w panels that I am considering using for the the AC that I would also set up like drawers to act as awnings over the doors.
But those and the AC unit would somewhat detract from the teardrop aesthetic, so there’s that, but I would like to be somewhat comfortable.
I would love to hear folks experiences with just a fan in humid conditions.
Thanks
