last time made galley hatch is now removed because aluminium composite panel was too stiff and spring back



testing bumper (VW T2, LateBay, BayWindow) idea and fender



made new attachments for hatch ribs to hinge

next step is to find some porthole windows around 12" or 30cm
fasten door handle and hatch handle(s)
make some brackets for fenders and cut fenders to shape
make rear bumper fasteners (modify original brackets to fit trailer)
and then it goes to painter and will be suitable to tow with bus you saw little few pic earlier in garage.

because it will be my teardrop tow i will tell you quick story with pics.

5 years ago it was like this, not so bad from far but ...

very bad and rotten frame and all other places, floor, fenders, doors, and ...

after cutting, sandblasting, welding, glass blasting, filler, sanding and painting
the right one is the right one

I stumbled upon this egg again in the garage.
So I rolled it out of the corner, wiped off the dust and looked at what had been done the previous times, what had been planned and what could be done
Then I replaced the hubs with axles and rims,
I put the fender in about the "right place" and I also cut into the arch.
In addition, since I was already cutting, I also made window holes in the doors and tried the windows in front.

When I finally put the fender on the body, I found that the wheel couldn't be changed because it wouldn't fit in between, so I had to make another cut. I then made the arch larger and rounded the corners, which gave a much nicer result and made it possible to change the wheel.
