Sometimes it's cheaper without the trailer.
Been wanting to go back and finish the trail we had to abandon last spring. Rainy, getting dark, ect.

Was looking into a campsite but didn't feel like off-roading the truck. My jeep needed repairs.
By accident we saw what hotel rates were going for this month.
Last weekend we packed up the wife's jeep and made the 4hr drive.

The next morning we hit the trail heading for Chicken Corners.
Took all day there and back. Traffic was non existence, saw only one other 4x4 out there .
There was a memorial out there for a sheriff and his horse wich both fell off the edge.
The same edge the trail goes right by the edge of the cliff and you are 12" from it. [emoji15]

A few more on the way back before sunset.
The wife's (KK) Liberty did great. The traction control system acts like lockers and got us through great.

Good grief. I recently wrote a book about three deputies who were murdered four days after this guy died. Sheeeesh. :frightened:

Death rides a pale horse.

Going to Moab and also the Ouray, CO area and exploring Jeep trails is a long term dream of mine. Would love to be able to get out there at some point with my Jeep KK Liberty. It’s nice to know that yours did well! Mine’s lifted and has skid plates, so I think it should do just fine.

Your wife’s KK looks lifted too, with larger tires than stock. What off road mods does she have?

2 inch lift and 30x9.50x15's.
Tires aired down to 18psi.
I wish we could have disconnected the swaybars. Had to go a bit slower than usual through the ruff stuff.
