Utility trailer that makes in to a tent. The sides of the utility trailer drop down for sleeping. Tent rolls up in to carry bag when not in use and trailer turns into utility trailer. Haul leaves, wood,my ATV . Roll my ATV off, set up tent. Plenty of space Nice rain fly Super lightweight.

Nicely done! I'm curious, though, how you span the area between the two fold-down mesh sides. Do you lay a plywood floor across, or cut out the tent floor so you can walk on the trailer floor?

I made something similar at one point, although not as spiffy -– a 4 x 8 wagon box on a HF frame, with two 2 x 8 top panels hinged along the long side, which folded out onto brackets to create a 8 x 8 space for a dome tent. Cut out the original floor in order to walk on the wagon bed. The combined altitude of the trailer and box unfortunately put the tent up into the stratosphere and its infernal flapping in the night winds drove me to build a hard side TD the next time around. I recommend parking your rig on the lee side of something really big.
