New Harbor Freight offering

Has anyone built on the new 5x10 harbor freight? I just finished assembling the trailer and wondered how folks attached camper to trailer. The cross rails are 13/16 below the side rails. I am building Tony Lathams teardrop but will have to make some modifications for this trailer. I was thinking I would put 1/4 plywood down, then 2x2 over the crossbars with 1 1/2 cups in between. On the side rails I would use 1x2. I used some scraps to show you what I mean in the attached picture (I know the 3/4 ply on side rails is not correct...it's the right width for a mock up). If I did the above do I use self tapping screws or bolts to attach thru the floor to the cross members? If so, how many bolts? and how do I ensure 1x2s are secure a long the side rails and front and back?

Don't forget that the 5x10 is literally made for unistrut style attachments, so you can anchor pretty much anywhere along the outside rails that you need to.
