My first question! (Of many, I’m sure) we just purchased a 2015 Pleasant Valley/little guy T@g teardrop. I’m not sure which model it is, or what models they had at that point. I’ve attached some pictures. I’m trying to identify it and more specifically, what is the dry weight of this trailer as we determine which vehicle to use for towing it. I did download a couple of manuals that are more general in nature from the forum. But I can’t find the weight. Thanks in advance.

Just googling the name 900-1000. It seems that some models are even less - 750. There shou in d beca plate with vin and both empty and max wsight.

There are places that weigh such things. Just Google weigh my trailer near me.

I guess I'm on the horns of a dilemma because I can't tow it to the scales without a hitch, and I can't install a hitch until i know the weight 😂

I don't see a vin plate on it yet, just the photos I attached. There is no weight listed on the title.

It will carry over 2000 pounds but suspect you knew that. Usema bathroom scale and measure hitch weight. Should be around 10% of trailer wright.

Here's what I expected of him plate.

If you have a title for the trailer, your vin# should be on that. Look at the bottom of the picture of the black frame that you posted above, it is down at bottom left. I will try to post it with this but I haven't posted any pictures on this new forum site.

Good luck!:)

I found the VIN plate on the trailer tongue, it also shows the GVWR but not the actual dry weight of it. I would love to know what models were produced in 2016, their dimensions and weights. Thanks everyone!

Yeah. My vin plate didn't have empty weight. Catalog data says same for gross -1990, says payload is 1715, but incongruously says shipping weight is 320.

As I said above googling your trailer model I saw 900-1000 at top end.

PS- I found a scale at Walmart - $29.95 - goes to 500 pounds. Each tire and jack, add them up.

These days, when I’m relaxing after work, I usually spend time on rsps it’s a collection of the best private servers, carefully picked for their quality, activity, and overall experience. Keeps that same cozy, nostalgic vibe alive, just in digital form.
My brother actually had the exact same 2015 Little Guy, same silver and red combo. We used to joke it looked like a toy spaceship when we’d pull into a campground. His weighed right around 1000-1100 lbs dry if I remember right, and he towed it with a Subaru Outback without any trouble. Those trailers are cozy, but surprisingly well built, we once got caught in a storm in Utah, and it held up perfectly. Still kinda miss those trips, honestly.
