Offroad tow rigs - Lets see yours

I don't have anything to tow off-road yet... but I have my adventure rig...

Juniper_Dunes_063.jpg

It's an 81 W150, part time NP208 transfer case, 225 slant six, 4 speed, converted to propane, carries 65 gallons of propane which is worthy of 500+ miles of off-paved-road travel between fills. It'll go about 800 miles on the highway, if you keep it under 60, for a tank of fuel. Yes, that flag is a CB antenna.

It has a locker in the back and I'm going to get the one in front installed soon.

Eventually, it'll have a 2 inch lift, front and rear winches, two extra batteries, and a close ratio 5 speed manual.

Picking up a new tow rig tomorrow. 2014 Jeep Cherokee TrailHawk V6. Ordered it 3 months ago and dealer received it this afternoon.

Fresh off the truck...

Here's mine. I haven't modified anything yet but its a lot of fun as is. I've got a lift kit that will let me put 33 inchers on it but I think I'm going to wear out the factory BFGs first.

So many jeeps... Are there any Toyota fans out there or am I all alone???

Got your back Brother.... :D

This is my off road rig (2006 Rubicon Wrangler Unlimited) somewhere over one of the Colorado high mountain passes.

I will use it to tow my teardrop to a base camp and then go off roading in the Jeep from the base camp.

Just started my Expo trailer this past weekend. Not really a tear drop but small and along the same lines. Doing the suspension a bit different with the trailing arms with the air bags and shocks up in the trailer. But I plan to tow it with Big Black. Old school stuff is all I feel comfortable with.

Here is our 2007 Range Rover Supercharged. It does very well. We have had it out camping and off-road once in the year we have had it but more is on the way. We were in the Rampart Range area here in Colorado.
