Preventing Moisture Under a Teardrop Mattress

Hello!
We got our first teardrop a couple weeks ago and are headed out on our test-trip later this month. Since I used to live on a boat and battled with moisture/mold as expected, I'm curious about how to avoid the underside of the mattress getting damp and gross. We live near the coast and travel along the NW coast quite a bit, so my boat-life is influencing my thought process.

I've seen mess underlayment, shallow plastic grids, and a few other things. The trailer does have a good-sized vent with a fan.

I have room enough to tip the mattress up on it's side.

I use Hypervent under the mattresses in my teardrop and Oliver. It’s very effective. Another good option is the Froli System.

Hypervent adds about an inch to the mattress height. Froli adds several. Both systems get good reviews.

I used regular kitchen wash down tiles. They can be found quite inexpensively. It breathes well, it seems.

I've used a sheet of 1/2" foam that you can get from Home Depot as a thermal barrier between the floor and mattress.
It seemed to worked fine. Danny

What has worked for you?

In the middle of Idaho and beyond, we've never had a condensation issue, but our floor is insulated, and the mattress is 8" thick.

If you have this problem, you could solve it by adding a piece of 1" polyiso foam board (35$?). Or, if your mattress isn't dreamy*, get a thicker mattress and then see if your forecasted problem is a real issue.
