RAVE REVIEWS!!! TREASURE ISLAND Meet Greet IV Sept 26,27

I'm going to try to stop by to check out everyone's TD. Hope to get some ideas for my first build.

I'll be in the Bay Area this weekend and will stop by if I can make the time. I'm staying in my TD in Santa Rosa for a few days visiting friends.

It was good meeting everyone. Wife and I received some wonderful advice and ideas for our build.

A big shout-out to Dave and Dawn for organizing a priceless weekend on Treasure Island! It was great meeting you all, enjoying spectacular views of San Francisco. Photos and more to follow.

I agree. Three claps for Dave and Dawn. (that is the highest form of praise with my family). Very nice weekend.

Thank you so very much for all your hard work from organizing and goodie bags to setting up and awards! It was a fantastic event and we were so happy to be a part of it.

Such a great time! Awesome hosts, spectacular venue! and a great bunch of folks to spend a couple days with! It was great getting to know new folks! See you next year!

Thank you to all that made our Treasure Island Meet & Greet such a fun and special time!!

Dawn and I cannot thank you enough for being so nice to the public and our Hosts Angie and Charlie.

A two day Public Meet & Greet is not the norm for a trailer rally and the volume of visitors was amazing.

All the kind comments and Thank You’s are so appreciated. We are very lucky to have a special relationship that allows us the ability to have this event on Treasure Island.

The Views and Weather were simply amazing. Dawn and I noticed that we actually got a little bit of a sunburn!!

Thank you to all for the fun of the Appetizer Social!! Dawn and I and others were commenting on how good all the food was and how it ranks as being one of the best for a semi-disorganized potluck of favorites. I actually am craving a couple of the items right now!!

I know that people are very upset that I “The Most Complete Travel Trailer In The World”, “Tours Every 5 Seconds” and “Mam you WILL HAVE TO LEAVE THE TRAILER, I AM SO SORRY YOU CAN NOT STAY” that I DID NOT WIN the People’s Choice Award. People are still BOOOOOING the results. I will not name names but many people have said that the honest people counting the votes may have been drinking WINE!! In the Name of being Humble I have decided to let the results remain as counted. The Trophy has been sent to the Engravers. Congratulation again to Mary and John Blackard and their 1949 KampMaster Teardrop!! Again congratulations to Mr. Trailer Park King Rob Biaggi!! Rob was at his highest level of Trailer Park excellence!! From to Head to Toe Rob exemplified the ambiance and trailerama of a time passed!!

Thank you to our Treasure Island Queens Dawnika and Danielle for their Grace and Beauty. They represented the Trailer Show and brought the crowds to our paddock as they met their Public.

Big Thank You to Dano for helping Dawn and I make this event a fun time. Dano stepped forward to help everyone find their spots and again helped me in many ways where I needed. Dano and Mindy were there at our first event and have been there helping each year.

Again all thanks to everyone and look to more fun to come.

Who the **** BOOOOOS at a teardrop gathering. What is with that? You think your at a Car Show? Good thing I couldn't make it up there.

Our Hosts were very happy with us!! Thanks again!!

Dear Dawn and David,

It was a treat to have you (the adorable Miss & Miss Junior TI Flea) and your organization at our event. We loved all the additions and the group you bring are just great folks.

Both the shoppers and vendors love the display of trailers and the voting.

Thank you also for the fun goody bags. We loved them.

We look forward to next year!

Angie, Charles and Charlie,

Just a quick note of thanks for again letting us show off our Vintage trailers and teardrops.

We had a total of 28 trailers and really enjoyed meeting and greeting the public in our section of the Flea Market.

Hope you got positive feedback through social media and from your patrons.

Many of the vendors were super nice to Dawn and I, our kids and again our friends when we introduced ourselves.

I know Miss Treasure Island and Miss Junior Treasure Island did a lot of shopping and eating both days.

I have been getting so many nice e-mails from the participants and thanking you guys and us for hosting their trailers.

Thanks again and more success in 2016!!

Sorry you didn't win, Dave and Dawn. However, it's good to know that people's tastes haven't totally switched to medium and big.
Last year, the biggest trailer won. (It was very pretty inside.)

Where are the pictures of these 28 trailers and owners? I'd especially like to see pictures of the teardrop that won!

Howdie last-year's-neighbor, we missed you! That is not to say that we didn't have a great crowd this year ;-) It was great fun, with a nice mix of 'big' and small, old and new. Here are some pictures, by popular demand.

Wow! It looks like you had quite a selection and most of them were teardrops!
Thanks for sharing the pictures. :applause:
