I’m looking to purchase a rechargeable lantern. If anyone has one they’re happy with I’d appreciate hearing about it.
Thanks very much.

We have two and both use rechargeable D size batteries and I think that is the key. We carry a separate 12V battery charger that handles AAA to D. Took a quick look and do not see it available, yes it is that old.

Thanks Tony and Shadow. I wanted to try and avoid battery versions. The one you show, Tony, looks good. And good price. I had been looking at a Coastal brand light from REI which puts out 3000 lumens but probably wouldn’t need that type brightness and that was around $70 bucks, but on sale now. I’ll further investigate the light you mentioned, Tony. Thanks both for the help.

I have four puck lights from Biolite which are light and easy to use. I plan to use them in my teardrop and at the campground. We had a power outage recently and I was very happy with them. I also have a camping lantern from Costco. The lantern put out enough light for me to read.

I have a charger that will take AAA, A, C, D, batteries, All of our flashlights are well, old, and predate rechargeable in and of themselves.
