Shasta Lake Gathering April 28-May1 2016

Packing today, driving up with sis tomorrow. She is excited about this trip like a kid before Xmas! Me, I'm looking forward to seeing old friends and catching up. Big changes with us this year that might end up with us becoming "official" TOW members... See you all at the lake. Oh, Brian, the coldest night I ever spent in my tear was East of the Cascades!

LADYBUG IS READY TO ROLL!!! Hookin up tomorrow morning! Can't wait! Figure I'll find out what I forgot sometime tomorrow afternoon, after camp is set up. lol!

Looking like I'll be bringing one of my fuzz butts with me too - should make for an entertaining weekend!

We are planning a birding hike Saturday am, 8:30. Meet in the center circle. This will not be strenuous, just fun. We are in site 31 if you have any questions. Monstro the wooden purple whale.

Heading in the wrong direction... I have to drive 2 1/2 hours South to hook up with sis, should be heading North by 10. One stop on the way, Rolling Hills Casino for gas 'n grub... Senior day at the buffet!

Thanks everyone for another amazing gathering! So any friendly folks, love seeing old friends and making new ones! Always a little sad to see folks starting to pack up... But at least IRG is coming up soon!

We got back late today after an overnighter across the way at Lakeshore East CG (with a private "beach" on the nearly-full lake, watching the parade of fishing boats, houseboats, and PWCs) ... our hats are off to Lydia for a bang-up job hosting the 1st SLG (you done real good, Girl!), and looking forward to SLG 2017 ... ... can't hardly wait!

Now, to get ready for the IRG ... ...!

Thank you for putting on such a wonderful gathering! My sister and I had a great time, all she did on the 5 hour drive home was talk about all the great people she met and how much fun she had. We are both looking forward to next year's Shasta gathering and hope to bring both trailers and maybe I can even get Peggy to join us. Trying to catch up on house/yard work so I can pull my tear out from under the carport, pull everything out and repack for the camping season. Looking forward to Stevenson and a full summer of new adventures.

Had and AWESOME time as always! was great to see the water level so high and the nice breeze kept most of the bugs away! I feel like a party pooper because I went to nap Saturday afternoon and woke to it dark! missed the pot luck and the campfire all together. I did walk down with the dog to see what was going on and was able to listen to some music. Great to see so many trailers, and tear drops for that matter! Well done Lady Bug. The boys had a blast sleeping in the 47 Cub and Amie and I slept like rock in the Hunter. Just goes by so darn fast and then........ Back to work! Looking forward to next time, and already paid for our spot!.

being of the 'native' western "Washington" state weather makeup, I have to say the Shasta Gathering was a very comfortable event for me along with it having just been a nice relaxing get-together!! Sandi and I just pulled into the driveway at home a couple of hours ago.
We had a great 3755 KM trip enjoying two gatherings!
We both enjoyed the laid back nature of the 1st annul SLG and seeing a lot of our "Teardrop Friends again, after a long winter.
Great Job!
We are booked into the same spot for next year, and hope we have not worn out the "Binford 600 Smoothie Pro" by then
it saw a few more supplies run thru it on the way home........we had Margaretas in 3 states this past week!
Tell your Dad he did a bang up job on that Group Photo! Thanks for posting!
We will watch for you here on the TnTTT a little more. now that you have a new computer.
