I didn't expect to have this sort of issue finding latches, but here we are. I first bought this Push Button Latch, but it's so cheaply made and has tons of loose wiggle to it. I don't see them holding up long term, so I then bought this "slam latch". It's more solid, but the hook part is also much further than would work for an inset door. The doors on my galley/inner storage are going to be flush with the face of the cabinets, so I'd need to add a spacer behind the face. That's not the end of the world, I can do that. But I'd still like to find something well built and not require additional material added on.
Material is 20mm (3/4") baltic, actually measuring about .700"

Pricey! But you can confirm this will be flush on the backside with only the latch protruding?

I can't confirm anything. I simply did a little search to help you out, and have no connection, nor have bought anything from the responses I posted.
