After attending the IRG1.0 this year, I was re-inspired to do some Dutch Oven cooking. Additionally, I noted a device used by Lazybones (Lee A.) and set about to make one for myself. Having done that, I decided others might be interested so - just in time for Christmas - I am happy to announce the availability of the "breeze shield". You can check it out and order one or two for yourselves at http://www.breezeshield.com .

Sorry for the craven self promotion!! :D

Happy Holidays to all!!!

Regards,
Dave Klinzman

Nice and the price is good. I guess you could go with all the jokes about breaking wind etc. I would buy one but I made my own out similar shaped peices of metal I found on the back of some cars on my block.

The table I have has a wind break but it's kind of short. I have a couple tags laying around, maybe I'll make one of those fold up jobbies.

Nice job  I agree, the price is fair.

Ma3tt, you can be glad that you live on the opposite coast from me. If not, I'd be at your house beggin' for dinner every day.

Dave, thanks for sending those breeze shields out so quick I will be adding them to my cooking gear they look great. thanks.

I just got my breezeshields today and they are really nice. Can't wait to use them. I can think of so many ways we will be using them, and they look so nice too. Everyone needs a set!

Dave, thanks so much for sending them out so quickly.

I'll tell you what, there's no faster way for a DO meal to take FOREVER than to have a bit of a breeze (or wind) and no way to shield the oven. One way or the other, a wind break is necessary. Build'em or buy'em, you are going to need'em.

Dave -
I just ordered a two-pack of these, since I am DIY-challenged and the price was good. But you may want to update your website to show shipping as $4.60 instead of $4.05. I know postal rates went up so no biggie for me, but others may not lilke to see the higher rate on the PayPal page than is advertised on the website.

I look forward to receiving these!

Cheryl
