South Central Check in!

Love the check in thread.
Good to see folks are doing well and busy.
Charles is building our daughter a small (30x30) house and that is taking all his time and $. I've just been busy at work, working in the shop getting ready for fall shows, I did an awesome project, a Rustic Bathroom for my nephew, and baby stuff.
We have 2 grand sons due this year.
Charlie is due Aug 29th and I will be heading to Germany for his arrival on Aug 26th. Logan is due around Christmas. I've been busy in my spare time doing baby stuff. LOL refinishing a rocking chair and making blankets, towels etc.

No camping for us until Beavers Bend 2014. Hopefully we can take a teardrop vacation next year as Cassidy and James will be back stateside.

Still here. I haven't done any camping during the summer. I've been just been hanging out on the beach at Isle Du Bois in the morning or evenings.

Here are pics of my summertime digs :D

Love that park. During the fall and spring that is where we hang out.

Bob's mom passed away this summer so we have been occupied doing family things. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in October. Looking forward to some good Gumbo and seeing all our TnTT friends.

Bob and Pam

I am so sorry to hear about Bob's loss, camping is good for the soul, I hope it helps mend the fabric. It has always been great medicine for me.

We're still around. Had to do some repair on the WW2. Little plywood separation. Spent most of the spring helping son # 2 convert a 18 by 25 by 12 ft high boat carport into a cabin down at Warsaw and spent the hot part of the summer getting the east side of my house resided. Started that 3 yrs ago and finally got it done. Looking forward to seeing you all at LCG.

Gary

I'm still alive. I have not been camping this year, but plan to be at LCG, for sure. I've had a lot to do, and it's been so hot and dry.

CD

Haha! Sounds good... OK I won't wait on the bathhouse, I have a bathroom and shower, but I would like to get some AC power run. I just cleaned out the shop today and the next step is running power to it, which means running the hookups.

My buddy hooked me up with a great target system that I am going to set up on the island too.

Kerry and I are doing well. Been busy at work for me this year, a bit of reorganizing due to the federal "belt tightening" and a few other challenges. I did get to add a new country to my list of travels; made it to Taiwan this year. All in all, we have been doing well. Celebrated our Granddaughters first birthday, our kids are doing well and Kerry and I getting ready to head out on our 30th wedding anniversary trip. Hard to ask for more! No camping yet this year, things always seem to come up. We are looking forward to LCG and the Inaugural Thomas' Woodlands Gathering.

Yes we are still here We been busy after all the camping. After the end of this year time rebuild I going wider and taller and Bigger.

Earl, I was in Taiwan in 1996 in Taipei and also a resort called Turtle island, After that it was off to Shanghai and then the final destination of Jiading which was an industrial district about an hour and a half outside of Shanghai. The majority of people in town had never seen an American and my girlfriend at the time told me to watch out for the older people because they would spit on you LOL! I went to meet her parents for an introduction to marriage, it was definitely an interesting experience!

Also, the Inaugural Thomas' Woodlands Gathering is set!!!

Congrats again of 30 years with your lifemate!!

Hi everyone! We have really missed seeing our TD friends. It seems like such a long time. We haven't got to do much this summer because of my health. After 2 months I began to get back to normal and I am looking forward to seeing everyone and doing some camping. Thomas, your place is really looking good. I love it, can't wait to see it in person. We did sell our TD to a friend in Kansas but still have our Gypsy wagon. We really enjoy it when we can use it. Glad to hear everyone is doing good and still camping. Hope to see you all soon.

Catoosa Grani

We had our 61st anniversary in Aug.

I bought a small vintage boat the other day, I have been looking for one very low priority and had specific criteria and this one fit it... It was $800 (Paid $650), has a trailer, clear title, runs good, already tagged and lake ready as-is. Being a vintage 1963 boat makes me like it more. It is not too small, not too big and just right for me.

I could take it out now, but I want to give it a tune up, redo the wiring and steering linkage first so I feel totally comfortable. Otherwise, it needs nothing but some cosmetic stuff (Like seats  )...

What a sweet ride. I'm digging the windscreen.

Thanks Rex! I still haven't gotten around to getting it going, but summer is here so I'll be working on this soon!
