Spring leaf vs axle-less

I'm starting to build a 5x8 teardrop. Finding a trailer has been a bear, so I'm opting for buying the materials locally and having a welder put it together. Currently I'm leaning towards Timbren axle-less suspension, I'm curious to hear other's opinions or experience.
I realize the Timbren setup will be about twice the cost of axle & spring suspension; but I'm also not trying to go as cheap as possible as this will be our family's camping setup for (hopefully) many years to come.

Thoughts?

I really like the idea of Timbren's design especially in flexibility of the central floor height.

Harder to repair out in the bush but haven't heard of that happening.
