Subject: Starbucks Coffee

From a U.S. Marine:
"Recently Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because
they wanted to let them know how much they liked their coffees and to
request that they send some of it to the troops there. Starbucks replied,
telling the Marines thank you for their support in their business, but that
Starbucks does not support the war, nor anyone in it , and that they would
not send the troops their brand of coffee. So as not to offend Starbucks,
we should not support them by buying any of their products. As a war vet
writing to fellow patriots, I feel we should get this out in the open. I
know this war might not be very popular with some folks, but that
doesn't mean we don't support the boys on the ground fighting street-to-street
and house-to-house for what they and I believe is right. If you feel the
same as I do then pass this along, or you can discard it and no one will never
know. Thanks very much for your support of me, and I know you'll all
be there again when I deploy once more. Semper Fidelis."

I don't drink coffee but I support our troops. Add another company to the "blackball list". Target stores.... seems they don't want the Salvation Army in front of the stores at Christmas time anymore. If they let them in they'll have to let everybody in. IT'S THE HOLIDAYS FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD!!!!!!! I'm done with THAT joint!!

Official Policy !!!! Come on people, thats a cop out, Starbucks is loving the freedom to sell so so coffee for soooo high margins,,seems like the new American way,,enjoy the freedoms our soldiers have fought and died for but for "Official Policy" b/s excuses companys ie:Starbucks is more concerned about official policy rather than trying to make a soldiers day.

this is not a statment for or against any conflict,,it is a statment about American business and their support of our troops,

I may only be 16 but I hate there coffee, It is to strong. The only time I go to starbucks is to use there free wireless internet for my lap top in barnes and nobel (book store) And the only thing I buy at there register is a good old cream soda. So I am behinde you all the way. Bye
