Teardrop Curious from Denver.

Hi there,

I’m Tim and I live south of Denver in Castle Rock, CO. Was tent camping last week and came home with some teardrop envy.

I love to DYI things so this is my new fascination. I’m reading Tony’s book and looking at different plans available.

I’m looking for something practical that I can upgrade over time and tow with a Honda pilot. I like a modern look but prefer function over form if I need to choose.

I’m a firefighter so I have a lot of days off to tinker. I’d like the option of a rooftop tent for the kids (8 and 12) but might just make them pitch a tent.
