Good idea, Steve. Seems like that would be fun, but it also seems like it's either always too hot, too cold, or like this year, too wet. And then, it also seems I'm always too busy.

However, Lake Summerville State Park seems like a good place to me. It's sort of centrally located between SA, Austin, Houston, and not so far that people wouldn't come from the DFW area?

If we organize something down here, it seems it would need to be later in the year when it gets a little cooler? What do you think?

Right Smack in the Heart of Texas. Pretty close to Waco. I haven't built one yet. Didn't even know they existed until a few days ago. I do plan on trying to though.

I had to respond. I'm from Texas...lived there ALL my life. Just moved to Kansas 2 years ago. I'm still in denial! Still have my TX license! and although I have my car registered in Kansas, I still have my registration and inspection stickers on my windshield!!!!!!

I filled out the poll, I'm toying with the idea of doing a woody for my next build. As far as a TX gathering, should we try for Inks Lake again? Possibly next Spring? There is also Bastrop which is kinda centrally located.

Thanks so much for posting in. Wow, so far 14 TDs and 3 planners. Thats great.
We really need to come up with a little gathering somewhere. I'll have to let the you guys figure out a good place to go. I have no idea where a good place would be.
I should be finished with mine this summer, so spring sounds good to me. When do you other guys expect to be finished?
