The Big Pink, Foamie !

Sorry it took so long to get back …..
The foam came back to where I just needed to peel the canvas back and used a little bit of filler. (1/16 in )
I glued the canvas back down, and put a coat of paint over the repair.
It's about a 6 foot repair, you can't really see it from about 6 feet away.

Up close you can still see where it happened, but I haven't tried yet to make it match the rest.

Just a Flesh wound !!! Really , you can’t even see it from the distance … 8)

Nothing much to report here.
The damage was repaired and is not noticeable. Another successful year of camping.
Just wanted to bump it up :D
The Big Pink is put away until spring.

Hi Bob !
I'll be taking it to a car show at Chesapeake City Park on the 16th.

 I didn't know of the show, will possible check it out.

The Big Pink is just more validation that Foamie trailers really work and hold up much better than a lot of the heavier ,leak prone commercial units . We had a Lot of objections to Foamies in the beginning with many "predictions of failure " that over time were all unfounded ... 8)

I'm thinking about selling.... I haven't used it for quite a while, it's still in great shape and needs nothing.
Any thoughts or interest?

Welp, it's with mixed emotions I sold the Big Pink.
I'm truly gonna miss it, but also very happy to see someone else enjoy it.
I hope the new owner documents the next chapter of the Big Pink on this website.

Good Luck Matt !!

Good afternoon,
I would like to pick up from where @tac422 left off. Im the guy in the last photos. I am a local to the Hampton Roads area and am very excited to maybe one day meet some of you in person perhaps. I would like to believe I was the right person to continue this build and enjoy many more nights and miles traveling with it.

I have read and will have to do it a couple more times this entire chat thread from the beginning and i've been looking at Mike's chat that started the whole project. On here all I'll say is I have a Marine Electrician background and love to DIY and make it my own just like my Subaru in the photos lol. I could chat about that integration later if anyone is interested.

So Tac422 was an absolute joy to meet and plan to keep in touch. His build has inspired me to take my time and make sure i keep his level of craftsmanship going for any adjustments I have moving forward. Now this is where I start my journey, with hopefully all of you in my back pocket guiding me along the Foamie adventure!

Let me finish off my saying a few things, I am a good sized man at 6ft 2in (74in) and pushing the heavier side. I realized i would not be able to stand up in this camper, maybe one day i could get some advice on cutting a hole and bumping up the roof in the standing area only. For now though i have other tasks at hand, I am all about efficiency and am ok with sacrificing esthetics if it works and serves its purpose well.

Im sure i have introduced myself well and lets see where everything goes from here.
