The off grid utility shed

Kinda of agree Bob, but as long as you keep that white stuff there.[/quote]

Yep I wasn't ready either ! I wanted to install the barn doors.

I even had help lined up and then woke up to record cold and mid morning the snow started.

I realized there was no picture of the patio trailer in place so here is an earlier picture before the roof was completed on the caboose.

I had to shove it back a bit to get the garden window installed but the caboose looks a lot better and the patio is about to become a spring project :x

Yes it's looks really nice with the rubber roof in place and all the trim in place. Looks awesome.

Took a short side trip this morning and went and investigated a 8 x 20 cargo shipping container. The tare weight of 4800 pounds kinda scared me at 1st but then I realized the caboose has probably blossomed to over 5k so that helped to put it into prospective. I am thinking strongly about a fireproof utility building for the monster wood stove and a water storage building. It is less than 2 miles from the caboose so I have got to make a call this evening and find out a price. It was pristine inside and out so it is probably not what I am looking for ! $$$$$ I like cheap!

It would take the place of the glider trailer and all the planned improvements would be made to this unit It could house the bath and shower and the rear bath area that is now in the caboose could become a down stairs bedroom solving the elevator bed delima that is holding me up!

Well got the fella on the phone finally and my heart sank $3500.00.

It was a very nice and almost pristine single use enclosure. We had a long conversation and he promised to look for a multi use beater for me at a discount. We talked about storage containers turned into tiny homes and I volunteered to do some work in lieu of cash to get the ball rolling. To date he is selling them mostly for storage buildings and electrical enclosures for the huge switch gear and components for grain drying operations. He sounded very interested in the new tiny house sideline.

While this is not the exact box it is a twin to it that I found on the net

Lock that up before leaving town and you know things are gonna be there when you get home.
