Turn Signal Brake Light Issues

I've had 2 people that have late model Fords (2023 Bronco, 2025 F150) that have "low voltage" issues with the brake/turn signal lights I've used. When I wire the lights, I test with a power station, then with my truck (08 Ram 1500) & my wife's 2021 CRV. No problems with either vehicle. The first buyer picked up the trailer with a 2021 Tundra and had no issues. With their Fords, they are getting a low voltage error message. Apparently Ford offers a converter of some sort to correct this issue. It seems to me that if they know there is an issue, they should correct at the factory on new build and with a recall on units on the street. Have any of you run into this?

There is a very recent safety recall on the Trailer Control Module (TCM) for a number of Fords (Bronco/Ranger/F150/Superduty). This might be the culprit.

It took about an hour in total to reprogram the TCM and get me out the door in the F350.

Thank you for the info. I'll send it to them.
